FRIDAY NIGHT DEBUT!
Maxwell DeMille's Cicada Club proudly presents "The Johnny Holiday Program" starring JOHNNY HOLIDAY with DEAN MORA and his MELODY BOYS and featuring THE SATIN DOLLZ PINUP DANCERS.

PLUS JOHNNY'S SPECIAL GUESTS:
EMILY BERGL * DENNIS MCNEIL * RICHARD HALPERN * JODY BYRD

SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY DANCE LEGEND JEAN VELOZ
Jean Veloz, the icon of the new generation of swing dancers, is a living bridge
from the Los Angeles dance scene of the 1940s to the present-day
Lindy Hop revival that has swept the United States
and the rest of the world since the late 1990s.
I want to extend to you a personal invitation to my "Johnny Holiday Program" at Maxwell DeMille's World Famous Cicada Club.
The program is similar to my late uncle Bing Crosby's radio programs or the 'Hollywood Palace' television show -- with an emphasis on music, variety, and a few surprises too!
Step back in time and enjoy a delicious dinner and a fabulous show at one of the country's greatest supper clubs -- not unlike like the ones I worked years ago, but no longer exist.
I am delighted that Richard Halpern is joining us as he is one of the people that first drew me to The Cicada Club with his electric personality and engaging singing style. When Maxwell DeMille told me Richard might be available I was delighted. No one sings the old songs as well and with as much command as Richard!
What a thrill that my dear friend, and one of the finest overall performers I know, Miss. Emily Bergl will be joining us. Emily is by far one of the greats and she is flying in from NYC to do this show as a favor to me. Emily has played The Carlyle, The Oak Room and appeared in numerous films and television shows. I adore this lady!
Also joining us is one of the truly gifted singers I know, Dennis McNeil who was selected by Broadway World as the best male cabaret performer last year and has a wonderful voice. He has performed for five President's and got his start with The Metropolitan Opera.
My friend Jody Byrd has a wonderful voice and frankly I felt terrible that it took so long to bring him back but I know he will shine on our show. I know you will like him as much as I and so many others do.
It's a special treat to have a marvelous young lady was has mastered the art of tap dancing and I am delighted Charon Tap Star will be joining us. So it will be a full night and your contribution is sincerely appreciated.
With all of this plus The Satin Dollz and Dean Mora's 10-piece Dance orchestra this will be a grand night indeed!
After the program, you are invited to the Mezzanine Lounge for a delightful after party!

The Johnny Holiday Program:
Johnny Holiday, Great Nephew and God Son of the late Bing Crosby, spent a bit of time on television starting in 1969 but mostly worked nightclubs and hotels, opening for the headliners such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Jerry Vale, Dick Haymes, Nancy Wilson, Johnnie Ray, Eddie Fisher, Don Cherry, John Gary, Tony Martin, Frankie Laine, Mel Torme and many others.
He sang with various bands including four years with Ernie Hecksher in The Venetian Room at the Fairmont Hotel a top Nob Hill in San Francisco, The Beverly Wilshire, The Hollywood Roosevelt, Eden Roc, The Deauville, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis in NYC, The Fountainbleu, The Everglades Club, and other Hotel's and Resorts throughout North America, Canada, and two tours in South America.
Mr. Holiday worked for bandleaders Ralston Ayers, Lawrence Welk, Ronnie Kemper, Dick Jurgens, Bobby Thomason, Dutch Deutch, Alan King, and many others. He sang for dancers, debutante balls, and parties. This was at a time which really was the last gasp of what was called, "Cabaret Society".
Working activly for charities and fundraiser, he raises money for several worthwhile organizations such as The USO, Operation Gratitude, and The Good Works Program of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Johnny is the toast of Hollywood society with his featured nights at Maxwell DeMille's World Famous Cicada Club with "The Johnny Holiday Program" with great dance music by Dean Mora and his Melody Boys.
