The Johnny Holiday Program:
Johnny Holiday, Great Nephew and God Son of the late Bing Crosby, spent a bit of time on television starting in 1969 but mostly worked nightclubs and hotels, opening for the headliners such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Jerry Vale, Dick Haymes, Nancy Wilson, Johnnie Ray, Eddie Fisher, Don Cherry, John Gary, Tony Martin, Frankie Laine, Mel Torme and many others.
He sang with various bands including four years with Ernie Hecksher in The Venetian Room at the Fairmont Hotel a top Nob Hill in San Francisco, The Beverly Wilshire, The Hollywood Roosevelt, Eden Roc, The Deauville, Waldorf Astoria, St. Regis in NYC, The Fountainbleu, The Everglades Club, and other Hotel's and Resorts throughout North America, Canada, and two tours in South America.
Mr. Holiday worked for bandleaders Ralston Ayers, Lawrence Welk, Ronnie Kemper, Dick Jurgens, Bobby Thomason, Dutch Deutch, Alan King, and many others. He sang for dancers, debutante balls, and parties. This was at a time which really was the last gasp of what was called, "Cabaret Society".
Working activly for charities and fundraiser, he raises money for several worthwhile organizations such as The USO, Operation Gratitude, and The Good Works Program of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Johnny is the toast of Hollywood society with his featured nights at Maxwell DeMille's World Famous Cicada Club with "The Johnny Holiday Program" with great dance music by Dean Mora and his Melody Boys.
